Redefine in Week Nine

What’s up everyone? It’s late Saturday evening, I finally have some free time, and I feel like writing. This won’t be very long, but it will be something to look at until Monday or Tuesday. Probably Wednesday when we learn who the next US President is. If anyone is headed to the Browns game Sunday, Springsteen will be performing next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame at 3:45. There’s kind of a lot to talk about. Cavs, Browns, music, politics, television. Oh, and good luck to Mike Singletary in San Francisco. A tirade and a pants dropping in less than a week as interim coach, this guy is a kook.

The Fighting Cleveland Browns

After a horrific start, the Cleveland Browns could get right back into the thick of things with a win this Sunday against the Ravens. This is the most pivotal game the Browns have played to date. With a win, the Browns will have won three of their last four, and have built the much needed momentum we’ve been waiting for all season. The 2008 Cleveland Browns are all about rhythm. When we get into a groove, and imply our will on defenses, it’s tough to stop this team. Offensively, the Browns must run the football. Cleveland is 11-1 when Lewis runs the ball 20 or more times. This will also keep Baltimore’s safeties and linebackers honest, and not allow this intimidating Baltimore defense to blitz the hell out of Derek Anderson. The Browns have their work cut out for them offensively. Derek Anderson can’t get flustered, and must get things going to keep his teammates and crazy Cleveland fans into the game. We need to be focused on winning, and not booing Anderson when he has a bad series or two. Brady isn’t playing unless the Browns get knocked out of playoff contention, and I don’t see that happening anytime soon. On the defensive end, the Browns are going to be tested by Ravens running back Willis McGahee. Willis has had his way with the Browns in the past, but hasn’t faced the Shaun Rogers he’s going to see this Sunday. Dubbed as a lazy player from a bad city, Rogers is coming off a smoking performance against Jacksonville last Sunday. Baltimore is good, and I don’t expect the Browns to blow out Baltimore, but I do expect the Browns to walk out of Cleveland Browns Stadium with a W.

Killer Cavalier

This is it. This is the team that we have all been waiting for. Forget about that loss to Boston on opening night. Forget about blowing a 3rd quarter lead against Charlotte. Forget about that little early season meltdown in New Orleans, it was New Orleans’s home opener, but don’t forget how talented the Cavaliers are. The Cavs are going to run rule teams on several occasions per month this season. This team is good, and with a full season of cohesion, the 08-09 James Gang is going to be a force to reckon with in the East. I don’t see us lacking in many positions. I know I always say Mike Brown isn’t a good coach, but I have to give him credit where it’s due. Like a Larry Brown or a Mike Krzyzewski, Brown is capable of getting the most out of his team on the defensive side of the ball. This lockdown defense is going to be the foundation of success for this team. Offensively, there isn’t much to worry about. Mo Williams, Z, LeBron, and Boobie are more than capable of carrying the Cavs night in and night out. Boobie Gibson looks like he’s been working hard this offseason to become a more complete player. I am really excited for all 80 games left this season.

Lost Promo

Take a look at the new promo for season five of LOST. I feel like I’ve been waiting for years for this show to come back on. I can’t wait to see it again.

Pick a President

Go out and vote. If you have an opinion and don’t vote, keep your opinion to yourself because it doesn’t matter. Sorry, I run into situations like that often. Remember, people in other countries would do anything to have a say in who their leader is. The guy I am voting for isn’t going to win. That’s what I really believe right now. Anyways, this isn’t about politics, this is about the video I want to show you. Thanks’ Er for finding one of my favorite videos ever. So a teacher took class time to coordinate this insane remix? And the world wonders why there are problems with education in this country.

Music Man

I’m not discussing tracks today. Listen to what you want. Some of it you might like, some of it you might hate. These are just songs I think people might have an interest in.

DJ Khaled Ft Kanye West, Twista & T-Pain - Go Hard (remix)

Kanye West – Robocop

T-Pain f. Kanye West - Therapy

Jack’s Mannequin – The Resolution

Nicholas Megalis – The Holder

Check out his MySpace here. I have been trying to work with this dude for the past few months, but can’t get in contact with him. I believe he’s going to “make it” within a few years. Check out his MySpace here. It’s these artists with odd images that always seem to make it.

Cracker – Low

90’s tune that everyone should already know.

Local H- Bound to the Floor

Question of the Day

Watch this commercially for the new Blackberry. Can you tell me who is doing the voiceover? Many of you are very familiar with it.

That will do it for me. It’s late Saturday evening. Be back early in the week. Go Browns. The most pivotal game of the season is here, how will this team respond?
